In 2018 I started a duo that performs background music that is a great fit for cocktail hours at weddings, restaurants, lounges etc.
Here's a bit of the jazz standard "Autumn Leaves" with my friend James Calderon on violin. Check out his work at www.jamescalderonmusic.com
In 2017 I started Island Radio, a group that I play steelpan (steel drum) and keys in. We perform as a duo or trio and cover Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, and classics like "Jump in the Line" in this video. www.islandradioband.com

All ages are welcome. We play on acoustic instruments during lessons; an upright piano, drum set (not electric), and various hand drums.
Piano is the perfect instrument for anyone to learn. Harmony, melody, rhythm--it does it all! I get students started with a good foundation through learning technique and scales, but we dive right into learning songs ASAP, like this video of a young player learning "Duke of Earl".
In 2018 I started playing drums for Johnson City, a modern country cover band from Frederick, MD that was formed by event promotor/faux painter and renaissance man Ron Layman (www.ronaldlayman.com). Contact him to book Johnson City for your carnival, festival, or fundraiser. Here's the group covering some Kenny Chesney.
I play drums on a regular basis for a dueling piano act out of Baltimore, MD. Here's a soundcheck for a show at Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Ijamsville, MD. Check out https://cuttingedgeduelingpianos.com/ for some high energy, all-request, professional entertainment.
